Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Citrus Park Eyecare the leading provider of vision care products and services in Tampa.


Daniel J. Guild, O.D.

Dr. Guild is the owner of Citrus Park Eyecare and is a full scope Board Certified Optometric Physician trained in all aspects of optometry, with a special interest in ocular disease. He was born and raised in Tampa and earned a BS in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in 2013. He then earned a second BS in Vision Science as well as his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2018.

Prior to graduating, Dr. Guild completed his internships at the Eye Care Institute at NSU Health with rotations in primary eye care, cornea and contact lenses, pediatric and binocular vision, vision therapy, low vision rehabilitation, and retina. He then completed his externships at the Villages VA Outpatient Clinic, where he had extensive training in the management of ocular disease (with a focus on glaucoma and macular degeneration) as well as surgical pre- and post-op evaluations and co-management of cataract and refractive (LASIK, PRK, SMILE, and ICL) surgeries.

Dr. Guild lives in Carrollwood Village with his wife and two children.


Michelle Wyeth, L.D.O.

Michelle is a Board Certified Optician as well as the office manager. She has been working in the optical field for over 30 years. After completing the Optician Apprentice program, Michelle successfully passed her state boards and has been licensed since May 2000. Michelle has been working in this Citrus Park office since 2001 and has excellent knowledge of all of the latest frame and lens materials and options.

Veronica is a New Jersey native and has lived in Florida since 2014. She has been licensed for over 35 years in 3 states (New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida). Veronica loves to help people find just the right frames and lenses to enhance your vision with a fashionable eye!

Maia is the newest member of our team. She handles the front desk duties such as scheduling and billing. Maia is attending college at HCC majoring in Allied Health. She hopes to one day be a Forensic Pathology Assistant. Maia enjoys reading in her spare time.


Debbie Guild, C.O.M.T.

Debbie is a Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist with over 35 years of experience in the eye care field. She works closely with the doctors doing specialty and preliminary testing as well as gathering important information to ensure you receive the most thorough eye exam.

Debbie is married with three grown children (Dr. Dan included!) and four grandchildren.
